The subconscious mind

What your subconscious believes is the difference between success or failure, sickness or health, and happiness or unhappiness.

Your subconscious performs six vital functions:

It is the memory bank of your life. Everything you have ever experienced in any way is permanently stored by your subconscious mind.

It controls and regulates the involuntary functions of your body such as respiration, circulation, and digestion.

It is the seat of our emotions and dominates our conscious mind. Since emotions control the strength of our desires, and desires control our behavior, we are at the mercy of our subconscious unless we learn how to use it.

It is the seat of our imagination. Creative imagination is one of the great tools of success. Great achievements are often attributed to subconscious insights. In hypnosis the imagination is dominant and creative powers are at their peak while the reasoning mind is a passive observer.

It carries out our habitual conduct such as riding a bicycle, driving, getting dressed, poor memory, clumsiness, etc.

It is the dynamo that directs our energy, the energy that drives us toward our goals. Oftentimes these goals are outdated or from past misconceptions we have come to believe about who we are or imagined limitations accepted when we were very young.
